KC Fret Shop Community,

Wow! Last month’s jam session was an amazing one! Thank you to everyone who made it out! It was great to see so many familiar faces as well as a ton of new musicians participating as well.We’d love to keep seeing you at the KC Fret Shop Monthly Jam Sessions on the first Sunday of the month, tell a fellow musician friend & add it to your calendars from here on out!

KC Fret Shop Monthly Jam Session

Sunday, April 6th from 1-4 PM

Schedule: Swing Jam, 1-2pm & Open Jam, 2-4pm

Location: K.C. Strings Concert Venue, 5842 Merriam Dr, Merriam, KS 66203(right next door to our shop)

KC Fret Shop will be open from 2:30-4:30pm during the Sunday jam, come on by!

April’s Featured Instrument

This month’s featured instrument is the Anton Krutz Signature Mandolin!

Made entirely in our famous Kansas City workshop, the Anton Krutz Signature Mandolin is entirely hand-carved from seasoned tone woods. A North American Maple back, Canadian Spruce top, Evo Gold frets and D'Addario J74 strings name just a few of its top quality features of this fine instrument.

Blending the Italian Masters traditions of violin making with the time-honored American Loar era design. Following the success of his arch-top classical guitars (purchased by musicians such as Eric Clapton and Zac Brown of Zac Brown Band,) Anton combines Golden ratio geometry and precisely graduated arches to make the finest mandolin available to-date.
