Lessons
Devin Dechant is an experienced bluegrass musician who has performed with acts such as Danny Spain Gang, Cameron Keeling and The Runaway Train. Devin is a gifted musician, performing on banjo, mandolin, guitar and ukulele.
Devin is now available to give lessons for all those instruments at KC Fret Shop on Monday and Friday from 3pm to 7pm. The lesson fee is $30.00 per half-hour session.

In 2026, Devin competed in the Kansas State Fiddling and Picking Championships, known locally as “FidPick,” and took 2nd place in the Banjo competition. He finished just behind acclaimed folk musician and banjo player Willi Carlisle, with Marnie Orville taking third. Click here to check out all of the winners for the competition!
