KC Frets Repairs Price List - 2025
Most instruments require some level of set up work. This is why most repairs begin with a $75 minimum set up fee, which covers nut and saddle adjustments, neck relief adjustments, fret polish and cleaning/oiling fingerboards. Smaller needs are priced on a case-by-case basis.
We also do electric guitar repairs!

String changes - $25 for strings purchased at KC Fret Shop. ($35 if purchased elsewhere)

Setup (includes minor truss rod adjustment, cleaning, polishing, minor fret leveling [high fret], nut slot depth adjustment, bridge/saddle adjustment) - $75+

Fret level, crown and polish - $200

Refret (often needs a new nut) - $400

Acoustic guitar bridge removal and reglue - $200

Repair Consultations: You can drop off your instrument at the shop during open hours and our repairman will contact you with a repair estimate. You're also welcome to book an appointment to meet our repairman.
