KC Fret Shop Community,

We appreciate everyone who made it out to this past month’s jam session! It’s so exciting to see the event grow. It’s also exciting to see all the new people who are now following us from stopping in the shop itself or finding us online!We’d love to keep seeing you at the KC Fret Shop Monthly Jam Sessions on the first Sunday of the month, tell a fellow musician friend or two & add it to your calendars from here on out!

KC Fret Shop Monthly Jam Session

Sunday, March 2nd from 1-4 PM

Schedule: Songs of the Irish, 1-2pm & Open Jam, 2-4pm

Location: K.C. Strings Concert Venue, 5842 Merriam Dr, Merriam, KS 66203(right next door to our shop)

KC Fret Shop will be open from 2:30-4:30pm during the Sunday jam, come on by!

March’s Featured Instrument

This month’s featured instrument is the Teton STR105NT!

The Teton STR105NT is a part of the 105 series by Teton Guitars. This acoustic-electric guitar is perfect if you’re looking for a more darker sound than spruce. These models have a solid cedar top paired with a mahogany back and sides. The result is a more mellow sound but still resonant. It also features laurel wood on the finger board & bridge. There are Fishman brand electronics with a built in tuner & EQ controls as well. This is a well rounded guitar for anyone who wants a great sound and could even play live shows with it!
