Schedule: Cartoon & TV Theme Songs Jam, 1-2pm & Open Jam, 2-4pm

Location: K.C. Strings Concert Venue, 5842 Merriam Dr, Merriam, KS 66203(right next door to our shop)

KC Fret Shop will be open from 2:30-4:30pm during the Sunday jam, come on by!

This month’s featured instrument is the Harmony Patrician Guitar!

Our featured instruments this month include two vintage Harmony Patrician Archtops from the late 1940s, newly refurbished by our experienced luthiers at KC Fret Shop! These are one of a kind guitars that are rare to find in good condition. With a solid, punchy voice, these instruments are perfect for swing & folk music and can make you sound like Cat Stevens!Video demos coming next month on our socials & YouTube page as well.

Now offering lessons @ KC Fret Shop!

Devin Dechant is an experienced bluegrass musician who has performed with acts such as Danny Spain Gang, Cameron Keeling and The Runaway Train. Devin is a gifted musician, performing on banjo, mandolin, guitar and ukulele. Devin is now available to give lessons for all those instruments at KC Fret Shop on Monday from 3pm to 7pm. The lesson fee is $30.00 per half-hour session.

Whether it’s a simple string change or a truss rod adjustment, our luthiers @ KCFS provide expert repairs.

Our skilled luthiers and repair techs have over 75 years combined expertise. You can be assured your instrument will receive top-tier care, from simple adjustments to complex restorations.

Repair Consultations: You can drop off your instrument at the shop during open hours and our repairman will contact you with a repair estimate. You're also welcome to book an appointment to meet our repairman.
